Getting ready for vacay

Chloe is pulling out the shades and getting ready for vacation! We are so excited to come back to IA for the Star Spangled Spectacular and to see our family again. Yay, see you all soon!!!!!!

Today a couple of us decided to cook a huge amount of dinner food to then be split up among us. Some would cook and some would watch the babies. Well, it was a crazy, chaotic time and the food still isn't done! Cary is going to finish up tonight and Theresa and I are going to pick it up tomorrow. The babies had fun playing with each other all day.

Noah would have pushed Chloe around in the wagon all day if i would have continued to turn the wagon around when he would get to the end of the room. Chloe really liked riding too. fin is in the back playing in the exersaucer.

Friday morning standing! Chloe pulled herself up to standing and stayed there for quite some time. She was having a good time looking around at that level and I'm not so sure she knew how to get herself back down:)

Chloe has found the cat food and water and likes to play in it and then wants to eat the food! We went swimming today at the indoor water park and had a lot of fun with our friends.

Some new fun things that I haven't officially posted yet are; Chloe is full on crawling, she started crawling about 2 weeks ago, she is pulling herself up by anything that will hold her and things that will also tip over, she started eating baby food! two days in a row she has ate full servings of rice cereal and yogurt and Chloe is clapping, it's really cute :) and she's trying her hardest to say mama and dada:)

Tuesday

Today Chloe woke up early and had a nap on the walk to Book Babies. Then had play time with all her friends, walked the farmers market, napped on the walk home and has been playing ever since.

Monday Stuff

Found the show laces again. Today was kinda boring, just went on our regular walks, caught up on some chores and tried to beat the heat. It was in the 90's and will be most of the week.

Smith Wedding Weekend 1

Grammy and Chloe Sunday afternoon.

My camera ran out of batteries, so there will be more pictures to come from the Smith Wedding Weekend when Grammy sends them my way. Together we captured all of the events:)

Saturday evening, Chloe and Dada at the wedding. I caught Chloe mid yawn, she was such a good baby being out and about all weekend.

More pulling up on the toy box Saturday morning. She's got a pretty wide stance:)

After a great evening out, Chloe had a bath and after that she decided it was nakey-time. And then more pulling herself up.

Chloe is pulling herself up onto anything and everything she can get her hands on.

Uncle Dan gave Chloe her first taste of ice cream. They had a Ben and Jerry's ice cream bar there for desert. And of course Chloe had to take the spoon and feed herself and she liked it. Now how can we get her to like real baby food?!

Chloe thinks Great Grandma's cane tastes pretty good.

Friday evening we went to Magan and Mark's home for supper for their pre-wedding celebration.

Thursday evening Grammy and Grandpa Smith came to visit! Our cousin Magan and her fiance Mark had their wedding here on Saturday evening. It was a beautiful wedding and wonderful weather. It was so great to see all the family again. We had so much fun with g'ma and g'pa, thanks so much for coming! We love you very much! We will see you again soon!

Wednesday Swim Day

They are too cute in their suits and hats. They had fun swimming in the outdoor pool today. It was Chloe's first outdoor pool experience and she loved it. Splashed and splashed all afternoon then it was time for a quick nap when we got home.

Maddox, Chloe and Delila. Maddox and Chloe were born on the same day at the same hospital!

We got to the pool a little early and Chloe had a good time chewing on her sunscreen stick. There ended up being about 10 other parents and babies.
