Chloe is really likes to play in her exersaucer lately. She bends every toy to her mouth to get a taste!

Trying Out the Swing (again)

Chloe is so active and always wants to be standing, sitting, wiggling and moving around so I thought to try the swing again. I propped up the seat and took out an infant cushion and she is liking it so far.

Monday Fun

We woke up this morning to more snow! It wasn't nearly as bad as last week but it's cold and wet again. So we're staying home having some fun:)

Thursday Morning Excitment!

Today Chloe and mommy went to watch Henry for a few hours. It was the first time that mommy watched two babies at the same time! It went great and Henry was very into Chloe. In the mean time, it started to blizzard and daddy got off of work:) So we get a fun afternoon with all of the family at home to snuggle up, eat chili and cinnamon rolls, yummy.

Play Time

After a trip to the mall today we came home and played. Chloe really likes playing in her exersaucer lately. She spins around, tries to get all the toys into her mouth, especially the orange lion.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

It was in the 70's today so we headed out to our favorite park, Wash Park. We walked around for about an hour or so and Chloe slept for most of it, it was nap 2 of 4:) We had a great time out and about in the great weather.

Gettin There

Chloe has started her first beginner moves to crawling. She pushes her knees and bottom up in to the air and scooches around. She isn't quite strong enough to push up on her arms but soon that will happen. Probably sooner that we can baby proof our home.

Out for a walk

It's in the upper 60's today with full sunshine. So we headed out for an afternoon walk. Of course Chloe had to wear her new sun hat. It's a perfect fit, looks way too cute and protects that marvelous baby skin. We walked for an hour and Chloe took a nap for 50 minutes of it. But I'm sure she loved the fresh air and nature.

Tasty Toes

Chloe can now get her toes into her mouth and suck on them for a little bit, it's too cute:)

Trip To Iowa

Chloe and I went to IA on our first flight on the 11th. It was a success with only a little crying because it became nap time during take off. Brigett and Tyler were there to pick us up and drive back to Storm Lake. We were able to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Smith and the Peterson's on Wednesday as well. We were greeted by Grandma Kneifl when we got to Brigett's house. She took Thursday off to spend the day with us!

On Thursday Brigett made amazing apple pie french toast for breakfast. We also had a home cooked lunch, Brig is a great cook. Then she treated me to a mani and pedi at her salon. G'ma watched Chloe and kept her entertained. We picked up T-man from school and he got to spend time with his cousin.

Friday we spent some time with G'ma Smith visiting her at her office. She might have needed to stay late because we took up lots of time and work came in second:) Then T-man had a half day of school so G'ma and G'pa Smith treated us to lunch at Martinis. We headed to Sioux City after lunch. We did some shopping and then went to G'ma and G'pa Kneifl's home.

Saturday we were greeted by Uncle Richard and then Great Aunt Sherry and Great Uncle Merlin. It was awesome to see so much family. There was lots of good eats.

Sunday everyone had to go back home for the start of a new work week. And G'pa had to return to driving on Monday as well. That left G'ma, Chloe and I some well needed bonding time. We went shopping on Monday and out to lunch. Tuesday G'ma treated me to lunch then an hour massage. I really got pampered! Chloe was loved so much by all of her family. G'ma took us back to the airport and we were then greeted by daddy in the Denver airport. He missed us and we missed him. The flight back was good too. A few dirty diapers in that tiny bathroom was interesting:)

Thank you to all our family for making time to see us, traveling to see us, making tons of food to feed us, helping with the care of Chloe, including diapers, baths, getting dressed, playing, napping and entertained while I got ready. You all do so much for us and we always feel loved when we spend time with family.

More Rollovers

Yesterday Chloe was rolling over from back to tummy! She would get stuck on her left arm and then roll back over to her back. She did it once in the morning and 5 times that night. Chloe is very active, it's no wonder she's rolling over all the time now:)

Monday 9th

Giggle Time

Last night daddy made Chloe giggle five different times. They were short, deep giggles and so cute! He made her laugh by having a weird, whisper voice saying repeatedly "sock it to me". I think I was laughing harder than both of them, it was too funny.

Chloe gets very zen when she rests this way in the bed. And no she isn't 6 feet tall already, that's just my tricky camera skills;)

4 month appointment

Chloe is taking a little nap after her dr's appt today. Here are the stats: weight=14lbs 3oz 60%, height=25 inches 80%, head=41.8 cm 75%.

She's as long as our couch cushion. She has rolled over 5 times and also enjoys rolling from side to side :) she is sooooo active.
