Our busy week of fun and games!

Chloe and I played hair salon last week:)  She requested all the bows!  Looks like she getting a perm.
I got a long tail of bows in the front:)
Chloe had fun playing the drums, I think she takes after her daddy on this one:)  After drum time we had fun playing at Kaylee's house.
Friday night we went to Tyler and Rebecca's so Jason could help move some furniture and then out to eat.  Chloe enjoyed doing some reading, deep stuff!
We bought a Kindle Fire and Chloe thinks of it as her personal movie and game device.
Sunday we turned in our Sleeping Beauty Ballet tickets from Brig, Rich and Andrea.  Thanks so much for the tickets, we had a great time!  Chloe has more ticket stubs already than I had by the age of 20;)
We met up with our friends at intermission.  Here are Bella, Hannah and Chloe:)  Hannah and Adalyn declined the photo op.
Today we had a great time playing at Hannah's house.  Then we baked some brownies.  Chloe especially likes tasting them ahead of time:)
Out of order but she likes to be goofy for the camera:)  Other regular and fun activities for our week included 3 days of school, gymnastics class, dance class and a visit from Uncle Rich.

Fun week with friends and family!

Hannah came over to play on Monday.  The girls enjoyed dress up like usual:)
Chloe loves to make, watch and eat popcorn:)
Tuesday Chloe had her first hair cut at a salon!  After going with me to Vesta to get some products she said she wanted to drive back tomorrow all by herself and get her haircut!  So I helped make part of that happen:)  She was very serious in the chair and chatty Kathy when it was my turn.
Tuesday evening after gymnastics class, gramma came to visit.  Chloe has so much fun playing with her and I had a great time enjoying her company as well.  This picture was taken minutes before Chloe passed out for a 4 hour nap missing dance class on Wednesday.
Thursday we celebrated Jason's birthday by cards, gifts and going out to eat.  Uncle Rich came over for a birthday beer and Chloe captured his picture, say cheese:)
Friday night Chloe and Jason had a date night!  They enjoyed going to Panera, Chloe's fave restaurant, then bowling where Chloe scored a 70 :) followed up with a little shopping at Target where she picked out a Cy pillow pet:)  I enjoyed a girls night out including dinner, going to see To Kill A Mocking Bird at the Playhouse followed by dessert, where I had the most amazing turtle cheesecake, at Smokey Row. A win-win for everyone!

More Good Times!

I can hardly believe that I took this picture this week!  The beginning of this week we spent two afternoons at the park with our friends.  And now, well we all know what it's like now, typical IA winter temps but without the snow.
Chloe had a blast riding her bike and playing with out a coat:)  We had a full week including school, park with Hannah, bike rides and park across the street, gymnastics, play date at Bella's, Chloe started her 2nd session on dance class, Uncle Rich coming over and play date at Hannah's.
Friday night we enjoyed dinner and fun at the Petersen's.  Here are the girls playing a dancing video game:)
They really get into it and do a great job!
Next up, the award winning dancer himself, Jason!
I had flash backs to high school dance squad;)
Stephanie was the high scorer of the evening!
Tim put the baby down only to get 2 more in his lap:)
Tim's turn to move and groove!  What a fun night with our friends!
Saturday we were all so excited to have Aunt Brigett and Cousin Tyler over for Date Night.  Chloe told me, I'm going to the mall with Brigett and Tyler and you and daddy are going on date night:)  She looks forward to her special time just like we do!  We enjoyed going out to dinner with Tyler and Rebecca:)  Thanks so much for taking the time to come visit, we always have a blast and appreciate it so much!

The week in review:)

This pretty much sums up Chloe's past week!  She had so much fun!  Monday, we all went to the movie theatre and saw Chipwrecked.  Chloe loved the Chipmunks and this was by far her best movie experience yet.  She sat on my lap for half the movie, went to the restroom and sat on daddy's lap for the other half, it was such a nice time.  Tuesday Chloe had a fun gymnastics class, she really is such a natural.  Wednesday Chloe was excited to go back to school!  Followed by a play date with Hannah.  Thursday was school, playing outside at the park in 65 degree weather and ending the evening with a visit from Uncle Rich.  Friday we had fun playing at Hannah's house again:)  Then we had the pleasure of having Sara and Kaylee over to play.
Wednesday I had my Dr's appointment and it was the easiest and fastest prenatal appointment I have had in a long time!  It was such a relief and really left me feeling better about this pregnancy.  We are getting excited so we decided to start documenting this growing baby:)  I am about the same size as I was when compared to the pregnancy picture with Chloe:)  Then I thought, oh no, here I am starting to compare the two already!!!  I am 15 weeks along in this photo with a due date of July 1st!
Saturday we packed up and headed out to the City Beautiful for Smithmika!  We decided to try no Dramamine for Chloe this time and see how she feels.  It all went well and I was happy to not have to give her the meds.  The party was a blast as usual and it was great to spend the weekend with family.  We also got to spend time with my sister and nephew which is always a treat!
Chloe is posing and having a fun time in her cape and mask she scored from the party:)

My Birthday, IA City Trip, 2 Football Parties and NYE Party!!!

Thursday was my 33rd birthday and it was a fabulous one!  Jason took the day off, treated us out for breakfast and then drove us to IA City for a fun day trip down memory lane.  Here are Chloe and I out for breakfast.
We stopped down by the river and crossed the bridge like I did a million times over to the art studios and art classes.  I could almost feel my portfolio digging into my shoulder again;)
We took a tour of homes, starting with my dorm.  It was connected to and behind Currier but it was named Stanley.  I lived in the lounge with 10 other girls as we awaited our final room placements.  It was a blast and brought back so many great memories as did this whole day.
Then Jason and I moved into this apartment complex, Ralston Creek.  It was short lived, thank goodness.
Only to be followed up by this house on Governor with a million other roommates run by a slum lord.  And by the looks of it still we think he still owns it.  These were all the places of residence my freshman year of school!
Then my best friend, Bree, and I lived in this apartment our sophomore year.  It was a great year and a ton of our friends lived in the same block as well!
Here's Jason's apartment where he lived with 4 of his friends, also just down the block from us!
Then my junior year I lived at this house on Burlington with a couple girls and a guy.  It was alright but not my fave.  Jason's apartment that year was too far away so we skipped going to see it this time.
This was our final apartment.  We lived there with our great friend Jamie.  It was set up Melrose place style with a very fun pool in the center of the complex.  This was a great way to end out my college years.
Here's the New Pioneer Coop where Jason worked for a while.  I remember it seeming much bigger that it really is.  He used to bring me home the best grilled, veggie sandwiches ever!
The old capital building.  Chloe liked the shiny roof:)
We walked downtown, it sure seemed smaller too.
A trip around the ped mall, one of my fave places about IA City.
Then we went to our beloved Sam's Pizza for calzones.  It was and still is our fave calzone place ever!  And nearly 11 years later it still tastes exactly the same, delicious!
Family photo at Sam's before lunch.
We stopped at the mall, Chloe enjoyed a ride on the carousel.  And from the looks of this photo, so did Jason!
Cute!  I love watching them have fun together.
Chloe knows what's up, #1!
That brings us to Friday's IA State bowl party at Rich and Andrea's house.  Here are Caden and Chloe playing pool together.
Luke helping Chloe get a ride from Rambo:)
A little foos ball action.
Jason wearing the rally helmet:)
And the fun didn't stop there.  We headed to Petersen's for the Hawkeye party that evening.  Chloe and Hannah make the cutest cheer leaders ever!
Even baby TJ was ready for the party!  His cute little pose just called out to my camera:)
And then Saturday night brought a fun NYE party at Tyler and Rebecca's.
Chloe was the happiest little girl I have ever seen when Tyrone came over to the party!  He took off through the house with Chloe only a few inches behind him saying "she's the greatest puppy ever!".  It was hilarious!
We played some fun games, including Quelf.  Just don't even ask what is going on:)
Tyler wearing his party helmet while playing Quelf:)

Chloe, her teddy and Kiko all cuddled up and watching some cartoons.  We all made it til midnight and had a blast celebrating the new year with family!  Now that is a lot of partying if you ask me!
