Today we had a fun day at the splash park wading pool. Chloe loves eating dry roasted edamame and baked pea pods for snack! Yippy:)

Tuesday evening Aunt Brigett, cousin Tyler and his friend Dalton came over for a visit! We ate dinner together and then watched Uncle Rich's softball team win another game. It was so fun to see them during the week. Chloe was all ready to go bye bye with her aunt and ready to ditch her parents! We might just give this a try in a couple months:)

Early that day we went to a wadding pool/splash park were we spent a couple hours playing. We had so much fun and it really helped us beat the heat.

Today we spent 6 hours furniture shopping and Chloe got to drive around in this car for the last part of our hunt, she was a really good sport about it all and we are pumped to have new furniture!
At the end of the night Chloe need to talk on the phone and relax:)
Then their grandmas took them to go swimming, who needs suits?!?!?
Friday night we went to Jackie's party celebrating her 1 year recovery from having a stroke. Madeline is 9 months older than Chloe and could pass as her older sister! Needless to say, Chloe loved her princess couch.

Friday Chloe got a Cinderella doll. Elmo had taken a back seat to Cinderella these days. Even her band aids, that must be worn every day even though her "ow-wo" is all healed, is Cinderella.
We sat in the outfield and still had great seats. Chloe didn't sit much but did make a few friends and traded snacks as well:)
Thursday night we all went to eat at Mullets. We met up with Meat and his wife Kelly there too. Then we headed out to the I Cubs game where Zambrano made a pitching debut! We all had so much fun going out to eat and cheering on the I Cubs, thanks Rich and Andrea for a fun night!

So far this week...

Chloe likes to fill up her cup, dump it out and every once in a while take a drink of it:)
Thursday we went to the splash park part of the aquatic center with the group of moms and kids that we are a part of. The splash park is free from 10-12 so we will be going back there often. Chloe is in between her new best friends Evelyn and Audrey. They are sisters and a little older for Chloe to look up to. They hosted the play date last week that we went to and Chloe has become very fond of them.
Wednesday we headed out to the Ankeny Aquatic Center. Here is Chloe during break time, she's trying to escape the ropes and get back into that pool! She had so much fun:)

Tuesday evening we signed the papers to get our loan and will soon become home owners! Then we went to Uncle Rich's softball game. We had fun cheering them on, playing in the rocks and getting the little girl to share her Skittles with Chloe:)

Sunday night dada, mama, Chloe, Uncle Rich and Aunt Andrea went on an 11 mile round trip bike ride to see our new house! On our way home we just had to stop at the DQ where Andrea treated us to ice cream, yummy:)

Mid July Fun!

We had a fun weekend! Mama even got some special treats too. Gramma treated Brig and I to coffee, then I got to get my hair done and Brig treated me to a pedicure! Then Gramma and Brig took Chloe for the day so I could get ready for the wedding and then attend it with Jason. They took Chloe to the water park, out for ice cream, down for a nap and a home made supper. Then brought Chloe to the reception with her dancing shoes on:) Thanks for all the help and fun!

We also want to wish Grandpa S a very happy 60th birthday!!!!!!!!!

This weekend we took another trip back to Storm Lake. This time it was for Colby and Katie's wedding. It was fun and the bride was beautiful. Chloe thought the cake tasted good too:)
followed by a shriek that is was cold! She also gave Elmo a bath when no one was looking:)
