Day 1 with Avocado

Chloe tried avocado for the first time today. I think she likes it a little more than the banana. Gramma flew in today to stay for a few days. Gramma got to feed Chloe too.

Cinco De Mayo

We celebrated baby's first Cinco De Mayo Tuesday at Blue Bonnet Mexican restaurant. It was also a thank you party for Holly, the organizer of this mom and baby group. Holly is moving to Kentucky at the end of the month.

Monday Stuff

Trying some water out of the sippy cup. Chloe likes to chew in it, not sure if she's getting anything out.

Lunch time, yummm bananas:)

Yesterday we had the picnic in the park with the group of moms, dads, and babies. we had fun and Chloe even took a nap during part of it.

Today we walked to Book Babies and had fun reading and singing again.

What can we say?!

Sitting Up On Her Own

Chloe has decided that it's time to sit up on her own! She's very stable but falls to the sides when she's reaching for a toy. Chloe really likes it and didn't want to go on her tummy for an hour after she figured out she could sit up.

Saturday Banana Time

Going in for more. Chloe did really great eating her banana this morning. She made some funny faces, swallowed some, spit some out, and talked in between spoonfuls. After all that fun, she ate maybe a slice of banana.

First bite, not so bad but not so sure either:)

Chloe is practicing feeding herself with an empty spoon before meal time.

Yesterday marked her 6 month birthday and her stats at this point are; weight 15 lbs 12 oz 50%, height 26 inches 60 %, head circumference 42.9 cm 70%. She has more than doubled her birth weight so she is right on track with her growing.

Random Stuff

This is the perfect banana tht Chloe will eat for her first food!
