Start of the weekend.

What a great weekend already! Last night we went with our friends out to supper followed by the play ground. While the kids were playing the daddies were entertaining us by "playing" as well! Lets just say that Jason got a huge slide burn down his arm and Tim had a bloody toe.

Today Chloe and I already went to the bank, did a little garage sale shopping, went on a bike ride to the park and then played there for a while. And we just finished up in the kitchen. Here is Chloe helping me wash the veggies for tomorrows Father's Day supper and fun at the beach! She is such a wonderful helper and so much fun to be with:)

The freedom of wheels!

The big event of the evening was buying a bike followed by a bike ride all around the trails in the park for over a half hour. If it were up to her we would have kept riding but it was getting late. And with a promise to go again tomorrow we headed back home. I will post a video soon. She is so great already, fast, uses the handles, turns, brakes, a total free spirit on the sidewalks:)

We are starting to get a great summer routine going including story time, kids movie theatre, filled in with play dates (today we hosted), trips to the parks and pools ending with school on Fridays. This is Chloe's ensemble for the day, such a hipster at 2 1/2 :)

Friday Fun!

Today Chloe woke up with a 103 degree temp. She was tired but otherwise in good spirits. Here she is by her art work from school. And an ice cream cone she tried to eat but couldn't finish, darn fever.

Tim and Hannah on the left and Jason and Chloe on the right, racing down the slides:)

"One more time!" in reference to the slide:)

Tim helping Chloe get a turn:)

Ava watching big sis on her new bike:)

Hudson and Chloe playing with another goodie from their bag, beach balls:)

Besties:) Happy Birthday Hannah!

Chloe sportin' her goodie bag goodies:)

Last night was Hannah's 3rd birthday party. They held it at the Ramada water park. Chloe had so much fun swimming, going down the slide with daddy and playing with her friends. It was so funny when the kids would stand on their chairs, arms in the air, shouting party!

After Chloe's first day at school, she came home to a surprise! I found a barbie car at a garage sale for $1 on the way home from dropping her off! I love a good find. Chloe was so excited, she played with it for probably 2 hours, no joke. She was also having her barbies reenact her day at school, it was super cute:)

Chloe's 1st day of preschool!

Today is Chloe's first day of preschool and we both couldn't be more excited! While in the parking lot Chloe saw her friend Josephine and was so pumped to walk to class with her. Once she entered her classroom she immediately saw her teacher Miss Kelly and ran up to give her a hug. Next she put her folder away, then her back pack and found the My Little Pony's to play with. I said my good byes, held back my emotions and walked out looking back over my shoulder at my beautiful, smart little girl. The other teacher Miss Tracy was introducing Chloe to another girl in class. And that was that. What a special day for all of us:)

What a fun week!

They all got to make prince and princess crowns with their names on them. What a fun time!

Today Hannah hosted a birthday play date. Here are Lauren and Chloe in the wagon being pulled by Hannah.

On Tuesday we went to the movies to see Charlotte's Web. This was Chloe and Ava's first trip to the movie theatre and Hannah has gone before but all 3 were very excited. The girls did great and watched the movie for about an hour:) before the wiggle bugs kicked in. Since it was at the mall we just headed out for the play ground followed by lunch in the food court. This summer they have $1 movies for kids on Tuesdays, we are looking forward to going again.

This week library story time resumed and Chloe loved seeing Miss Kelly again and signing some of her favorite songs. We also had a great time going to the pool with friends both during the day and in the evening as well. With our friends we also ventured out on a stroller walk around a lake. It was a nice time but maybe a little long for energetic Chloe;)

Our weekend of fun!

While the girls were watching Chloe they spent a lot of time on the trampoline. Here are gramma Kneifl and Chloe jumping, doing seat drops and having a great time! What a wonderful weekend we all had!

On Saturday mom, Brigett and I headed out to Omaha to see Wicked, it was so good and I would recommend it to any one thinking about seeing it. We had wonderful conversation, lunch, drinks and girl time! This was Jason and my first time to hire a real babysitter, real meaning some one that's not family and someone we had to pay:) So we hired Kallie, Tyler's girl friend and her friend Erin helped out too. Chloe has meet her before and Chloe was so excited to play with her. Within minutes Chloe was calling her cousin Kallie and saying good bye to me with out a blink. All the girls had a good time and Chloe is already looking forward to being babysat again:)

Friday afternoon we headed to Storm Lake. Jason had some work to do on a friend's house and I was having a girls day on Saturday. Chloe had fun seeing gramma and grandpa Smith on Friday!

But they were having such a blast! I just love their huge smiles:)

This is what happens when they don't want to take turns.

Pouring water from the pool into the bucket, hours of fun!

On Friday we went to splash park and played for a while. Then Hannah came home with us and we played more outside while her mom was at an appointment. Chloe and Hannah had so much fun swimming, splashing, pouring and playing outside. What a great day!

Summer Time the Livings Easy

We had our friends over for a pool play date yesterday. Afterwards Chloe took a 4 hour nap and when I woke her up she said that she wanted more nap!

Chloe loves her pool, she will swim for hours morning, noon and night.

Chloe with her crafts on display, she made a bug plate and colored a frog:)

Now scatter everyone!

Using the magnifying glasses to get an even better look:)

Getting an up close look at the butterfly.

We have had such a fun week with our friends. First we went to the Reiman Gardens where they have a butterfly garden and indoor and outdoor gardens. They also host a story time and craft time a couple times a month.
