So much fun!

We had such a busy week!  Monday Chloe had preschool then we had to deal with some car issues that only took 3 hours in DesMoines, blah.

Then Tuesday we had to get picked up and taken back to our car when it was done.  That once was an easy task but now it involves putting in and out and in two car seats into each vehicle, a 30 minute drive each way and feeding and changing diapers in between, shwooh! After getting the car we got to go to our friends house to go swimming and enjoy the final summer sunshine.

Wednesday Chloe had school and then we went out to TCBY, she got psychedelic sorbet:)  That evening I started up Zumba again, it felt good!

Thursday Chloe had gymnastics class.  She did an amazing job doing straddle jumps on the big trampoline, her coach was very impressed!  Then we met up with some friends at the mall, played at the play area, went out to lunch, and shopped til we dropped.  That evening Uncle Rich came over for a visit.  Chloe always looks forward to seeing him and showing him her new treasures and playing with him:)

Friday Chloe had preschool and we went to TCBY again!  And to our misfortune we read that they are closing their doors on October 1st, we are so sad, we love going there.

Saturday Gramma and Papa Smith came to visit.  We all packed up and headed to Ames to tailgate with Rich and Andrea and crew, we had a blast!  That evening we had Tyler, Rebecca and Ksenia over as well for a grill out.  That was a fun family weekend!

Sunday we went to the apple orchard and bought our season passes again this year, it's such a fun place to go for the afternoon.

I think that's most of what happened!

Wearing 6 month clothes at 2 1/2 months!
 Ready to tailgate!
Chloe on her new motorcycle and papa by his!

 Love:)

This past week playing dress up:)

Chloe and I decided to wear our dresses from Hawaii on the same, hot day.
While Cooper sported his Bears onsie gearing up for today's game!
Chloe had her first day of fall 4yo preschool at Triad.  She loves school and was so excited to return after her almost 4 week break from summer school.
She looked so pretty in her back to school dress.  Chloe had a wonderful first day of school, went in, got settled in and that was that, a quick hug and kiss to me and Cooper and she was off!
Chloe's room is over flowing with stuffed animals, she loves her animals and plays with them all the time.  But as you can tell she has so many.  So I ordered a pet net for Cooper's room and Chloe picked one animal for her net and one for his and back and forth until they were all divided up.  It was awesome to watch her be so thoughtful in her choices!  No crying or hard feelings either, I was very proud and surprised!
Cooper hanging out while daddy hung up the net and while Chloe made her selections.
Second day of school outfit, Chloe picked out her head band:)
Yesterday we went to Petersen's for the IA vs Ia St game.  Hannah's cousin, Emily, was visiting and of course Chloe fell in love with her:)
 Boys divided but still friends:)
All the kids at the party:)
Daddy and Cooper, Cooper's expression here makes me laugh every time!
 An arm full:)
 Brother and sister divided:)
Then the Hawkeye cheerleaders turned into fairies:)
Family all dressed up for the Bears game today, good game!
My Chlo-Bear in her Bears dress wrapped in her bear blanket, that's a lot of bears!

Cooper's Stats and Stuff!

Cooper had his 2 month Dr's appointment today and he is a healthy and happy boy!  Here are the specifics, I always love finding out what his stats are:)

Height; 24 inches, 88%
Weight; 14lbs 4oz, 87%
Head; 16in, 88%

Cooper really is such a good baby, we love him to pieces.  He is making lots of eye contact these days and it just melts my heart.  He talks a lot and loud too:)  Cooper loves to smile and I have to say that his smile is so charming.  Cooper still loves to sleep, taking naps all day long with no real schedule, just awake for an hour or so and napping for an hour or two then awake for an hour or so and so on and so forth.  He sleeps awesome at night too, about 11-12 hours total.  Cooper usually gets in one long stretch anywhere from 3 hours or like last night 6 hours straight then wakes every hour and a half after the long stretch to eat until morning time which is usually around 8-9am.  I'm loving it:)

Chloe has adjusted quite well too.  It took some time but she is going with the flow at home now.  She is mommy's best helper, gets me things, goes with me to change his diaper, helps with bath time, anything I need help with she is right there to help me out.  She just loves him so much and wants to hug, kiss and play with him ALL the time! It gets a little tricky when family and friends come over because a lot of the attention goes to the baby and she's not used to that at all and will find ways to get their attention if you know what I mean!

Jason and I have adjusted to having two kids with ease.  We divvy up the responsibilities and are always busy with one or both, there isn't much down time now:) With me being the primary caretaker of Cooper, Chloe has developed a new level of love and admiration for her daddy.  It makes my heart swell to see their relationship develop like it has.

I am one lucky lady.

Continuing the Fun!

This past week we had fun at the Indoor Playground on one of the very hot afternoons.  Chloe zips down the slides so fast, she's just a blur:)
Chloe and Ava catching the bubbles.
Chloe had fun using her new kick board in our pool while gramma was visiting.
Gramma lovin Cooper.  Thanks for coming to visit, it was fun having you here!
Uncle Rich and Aunt Andrea came over for a visit bringing supper and good times:)  This is the first time that Uncle Rich held Cooper, he's not 2 years old yet, way to go Rich!
We've been having a blast swimming at Petersen's new pool!
 Taking turns with the car:)
Warming up and taking a break.
Finally caught Cooper's cute smile on camera:)
 He is such a charmer!
Chloe helped me make some pasta salad to bring tailgating.
I think she enjoyed making the cookie brownie bars even more though:)
Friday we got dressed in our Hawkeye gear:)
Because Saturday it was all about ISU! Such a cute cheerleader!
Cooper's first tailgate, I think he had fun!
 Nap time made easy:)
Chloe loved the RV like usual!
She brought along her Cy pillow pet as well.
Chloe likes baby Avery.  One thing we learned was that tailgating isn't enough, Chloe wants to go to the game too!  She cried all the way home because she wanted to go watch football.  Next time we will be buying tickets, we're all excited about that!
