Labor Day Weekend

Gramma getting in some smooches before taking off late Sunday afternoon. Chloe is sporting a new outfit from Gramma as well, thank you! And they also got us a grill for a house warming present, thank you! (it's very cute;)
Grandpa K even got to come over for a little bit Saturday evening. He brought a patio set for Chloe that she has broken in fast, thank you. She kept trying to get one of us adults to sit with her and I told her it was for a friend to sit in and she said it was Fin's chair:)

Rebecca and Tyler came over to visit before going out for lunch and football. Rebecca was by far Chloe's favorite person to talk about, all weekend it was Rebecca this and Rebecca that:)

Chloe enjoyed some down time on grandpa's lap:)
It was our third weekend in our new home and our third weekend of having house guests! Gramma and Grandpa S came down to visit and we had a lot of fun hanging out on the patio, the weather was perfect, going out to watch football and eat, playing with Chloe and shopping. We had so much fun spending the long holiday weekend with family!
Here is Chloe driving her car on the patio. She is wearing one of her new outfits from Aunt Brig, it's too cute.

Growth spurt, shoes and braids oh my!

Chloe's hair is getting really long and I needed to find a new hair do. So braids it is! They are so cute and tight and are keeping the hair out of her face too.
Chloe went through a growth spurt and in the midst of our moving to IA then house buying, and moving again, I'm sad to say that we weren't paying that much attention to her feet and/of shoes. So the other day Jason wanted to buy Chloe her first pair of skater shoes and she had gone up two whole sizes! She went from a 6 to an 8. Here are her new Etnies and a new outfit from Gramma that goes great together.

Last weekend my parents brought down my old desk from when I was a child, you know the super girly white with gold trim kind and we're using it as our computer desk for now. And I guess I was a bit of a pack rat when I was kid and looking at the stuff in the drawers of this desk you would agree! Chloe found an old pair of head phones and a micro phone in one of the drawers and new exactly how to use them:)

At home this week.

Thursday night dada and Chloe were all Cloned-up and ready for the big opening game!
Chloe loves corn on the cob and has been eating 1-2 cobs everyday this week for lunch!

This week we have been getting the house a little home-ier. Partly because it needed it and partly because we had to be home for the internet installation and cable installation on two different days. But it has been fun decorating and playing with Chloe. Chloe got a package from Gramma K this week filled with clothes and shoes. I tried to spread them out and get her picture but she kept piling them on her lap:)

The first couple weeks in our new house!

Chloe got a new pool that has water fountains squirting out the top, pretty awesome!

This past weekend we had Gramma and Grandpa K stay with us. We had so much fun playing, cooking, eating and shopping. Rich and Andrea also joined us for lunch Sunday afternoon. Chloe and I just love having family over! G & G, thanks for the new dress, sweater and shoes that Chloe will model at our friends wedding in a few weeks. Also thanks for the camera, that way we can keep this blog updated:) Andrea brought Chloe a new outfit and a personalized flash light, thank you! Everyone has been so generous:)
Chloe and daddy after lunch at the mall.

The kids playing in the kitchen.
We had to take a classic Chloe and Fin picture too:)
Fin came back over after his nap and got to enjoy the sand with Chloe.
I finally got sand for the sand box and Chloe prefers to dump the sand out of the box, go figure:)
Last week our old friends from Denver, Theresa and Fin came over to visit and along with our new friends Gina and Sully. Chloe was so excited to play with her friends and I was excited to see the ladies again:)
Rich gave Chloe a gift card and Chloe picked out a new swing, a pink camping chair, a new dress and the fanciest Tinkerbell bubble bath ever!

Jason is working at the mall for a little while so we have gone out to see him a couple times and have had lunch with him during his break. That also means we get to walk around, shop and play on the play scape for a while too:)

Chloe also got a mini trampoline, with this big yard to play in we needed some toys! Chloe has created a very unique dismount too, when you visit you will have to see it.

Chloe got a turtle sand box but we used it as a pool until we got the sand for it:)

Oh, you mean I'm supposed to sleep in this all by myself?!

Brigett bought Chloe her very own, first bed! Chloe loves it....well at least to play on and to pretend to go ni-night!

Tyler and Rebecca came over for drinks then out to dinner. Chloe loves having family so close and taught them how to pose with their sunglasses on.

Our first weekend at home and we had visitors! Brigett and Tyler came to stay with us and went to a concert at the state fair. We had fun shopping for our fast growing kids:) Thanks for all the cute outfits!

Chloe using my shirt as a cape:)

Chloe loves to play in our yard!

The first few days at home and Jason has already made his way up to the roof and is cleaning out the gutters! Oh the joys of a home owner:)

I have spent a lot of time unpacking, buying new things for the house (we needed at least one of everything at the store it seems) and Chloe has been such a good girl during it all. And we finally got our Internet hooked up today and tomorrow is the cable:)

It's the final count down...

We would also like to wish Gramma Smith a Happy Birthday today! We love you:)Chloe cried last night when I had to take the tutu off to go to bed. But she put it back on first thing this morning.
Group hug! Chloe can never miss out on any hugs, if anyone is hugging then she wants in on it too:)
Chloe taking a dance break on Uncle Rich.
Add a tiara and the outfit is complete.
I got these fab stemless wine glasses to hold "mommy's juice" :)
Jason got a whale bone, it holds 2 cans of your fave brew:)
Chloe and Andrea have good moves:)
The tutu was so fun to dance in during one of our many nightly dance parties!

Tom celebrate our final weekend at Rich and Andrea's, last night they took us out to dinner at Boji, ironically it was the first place we went to when we moved here and the last place we'd go before moving out. Then after dinner they gave us some house warming gifts. Chloe got a very fancy tutu that she just fell in love with instantly.

We are so blessed to have Rich and Andrea as family. They made our move back to IA so simple. We were welcomed with open arms, open hearts and even their open home. And for all their love, hospitality and memories we are so thankful. We couldn't have done it with out you.

A visit from Gramma.

Then we went to the Botanical Center where we saw all sorts of amazing plants and flowers. My favorite was the tree that grew roots from the branches that would slowly grow toward the ground and root themselves! We had a fun visit with Gramma like we always do, thanks for spending your days off with us!
And since it was right next to the DQ, we just had to have some ice cream:)
Friday after running a few errands Gramma treated us by going to a Greek/Italian restaurant and we had a great lunch.

Hot Fun In the Summer Time

Tuesday we went to a splash park to play with a group of friends and I got the date wrong, it was the next day but we had a good time anyways. Then today we went to a make your own pizza party play date. We had a great time but Chloe got bit twice and that hurt both of us:( And Gramma K got here this afternoon and that's helping us both out:)
Chloe was busy playing when I took this quick pic. She has her crown on upside down, with her shades, pushing her baby:)
